Paris Apartment versus Hotel Room

Over the last 5 years our apartment rentals have increased by more than 35% every year in comparison to Hotel rooms booking! Why? Simply value for money, space and comfort.

Let’s say, you can rent a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment for 2 to 4 people for less than $350.00 per night – when you need 2 hotel rooms for 4 people let’s say in a good 3* centrally located at not less than $250.00 per room per night making it $500.00 for the 4 people, a saving of $150.00 per night.

Not only does an apartment offer more space and comfort, but it is also a great holiday concept for family or a group of friends. It can be your ‘home away from home’ and allow you to live like a local, do your food shopping and cook you own meals, therefore saving money on dining out.

However it is not for everyone. If you like the Hotel services, like prepared breakfast, the cleaning of your room and of course the services of concierge, most apartment rental do not have these.

Apartments in Paris – definitely the way to go. We spent a week in December in an apartment in the second  Arrondisement just off the pedestrian Rue de Montorgueil which is filled with food related stores and restaurants and is within easy walking distance of places like the Louvre and Notre Dame. Great to come home each evening to our “own” Parisian apartment. Very helpful English speaking staff.
